Therapist Position
Adapt Psychological Services is seeking a full-time psychologist or masters-level licensed therapist. The focus of this position is to provide therapy services to children, teens, and adults, many of whom are neurodivergent. You will gain specialized experience and consultation related to therapeutic considerations and
approaches for neurodivergent populations of specific developmental ages, physical conditions, cultures, SES, genders, and complex intersections therein.
Required Qualifications :
- Completion of an APA-accredited Masters, PhD or PsyD degree program in psychology
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience as a therapist (licensure does not have to be obtained for the entirety of this time)
- Maintained Illinois licensure in psychology or counseling
- Experience with and understanding of child development
- Understanding of neurodivergent identities and populations
Details of Offer :
Annual Full-Time Income : $70,000 - $100,000; Based on hours billed per week and percentage offered (This amount is prior to annual bonus)Annual Bonus : To be determined based on performanceDuration : 12 months minimum with a possibility to continue the position indefinitelyFormal Training / Professional Development : Maximum of $800 in skill development (outside of ongoing clinical supervision provided)Time Off / Vacation : Because clinician's income is based on a percentage of total income earned, time off is taken at the clinician's discretion with a maximum of six weeksMedical Insurance : Available401K : AvailableSupervision : One hour weekly with licensed psychologist initially, with need for ongoing supervision to be determined by clinician and supervisorGroup Consultation : Regularly scheduled and ongoing (both formal and informal)Job Responsibilities :
Maintain a full time caseload of at least 20 therapy clients weeklyCommunicate with minor clients’ family members as neededCoordinate care with additional providers as neededCreate, update, and maintain documentation, note-taking, and additional administrative duties as neededAttend one hour of weekly supervision or as much as needed to be agreed upon by therapist and supervisorAttend regular consultation meetings with staffNext Steps :
