About The Position

Experience : 2 years minimum in Pre-Op / PACU

License : Current nursing license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Direct patient care experience in the perioperative setting
• Ability to provide preoperative teaching to patients and families
• Experience with outpatient and postoperative assessments
• Skills in assisting during IV sedation procedures, including endoscopies
• Strong assessment skills for anesthesia and surgical recovery

Description :

Provide direct patient care to patients in the perioperative setting as a valued team member and patient advocate.

Conduct preoperative teaching to patients and families to prepare them for surgery.

Perform outpatient and postoperative assessments to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Assist during IV sedation procedures, such as endoscopies, as needed.

Monitor patients in the postoperative phase for anesthesia and surgical recovery.

Be available for on-call duties 7 to 8 days per month, including weekends, from 4 : 30 PM to 6 : 00 AM.

Work Monday through Friday with potential schedule variations based on preoperative needs.

Ensure compliance with all required certifications and maintain current licensure.
