General Description :

Under immediate supervision of a therapist, assists in carrying out treatment plan designed by therapist and prescribed by a physician.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Assists therapist in administering treatments such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, hot and / or cold packs, supervised exercise, etc.
• Assists with motorized traction to relieve neck and back pain.
• Assists therapist with patient transfers, exercise, walking, etc.
• Prepares the treatment area by restocking supplies and linens, draining, and cleaning the whirlpool, setting up treatment trays, etc.
• Performs clerical duties such as pulling and filing patient charts.

General Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED.

Experience : 0-3 years of experience.

Licensure / Certifications / Registrations Required : Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
