Certified Charge Capture Specialist

A company is looking for a Charge Capture Specialist 2.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and complete charging / documentation across departments and campuses

Review clinical records to identify overcharges, undercharges, and necessary documentation

Develop and implement training for Physician Practices on charge review updates and modifications

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Certifications such as Cert Coding Associate, Cert Coding Specialist, or equivalent required upon hire

Minimum 2 years of experience in collections or physician billing required

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and PC applications

ROCC credential through AMAC considered for Radiation Oncology positions in lieu of AAPC or AHIMA credential
