As a Senior Analyst on the stress test forecasting team, you will push the boundaries of forecasting as you measure the financial impact from movements in the economic environment. The ideal candidate will provide strong financial leadership across the entire P&L, be an analytical thinker / problem solver, and have the ability to synthesize complex subject matter to tell a story. The role will emphasize problem-solving, communication, and a strong focus on results in order to successfully navigate various scenario gaming exercises.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and business teams to assess the financial implications of various macroeconomic scenarios on the Commercial portfolio
• Articulate outcomes of analysis and insights to senior management
• Develop presentations to communicate results to senior leadership audiences
• Effectively manage deliverables under tight timelines
• Partner with tech team to automate and enhance processes
• Lead the financial forecasting of the Income Statement for CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) and scenario gaming purposes
• Project Management of Commercial CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) Process
• Leverage technology (Python, SQL) to automate models and processes
• Develop and manage documentation and presentation of financial results
• Financial forecasting and analytics to support variance analysis and model improvements
• Identify and enable continuous improvements across the team to drive efficiencies

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA : $109,000 - $124,400 for Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets & Risk

Richmond, VA : $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Analyst, Capital Markets & Risk

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
