Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment Location : Reno, Nevada 89502 Healthcare Facility : Same Day Surgery Center with 8 Operating Rooms Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 1 / 31 / 2026) Shift : 4x10 hour days (06 : 45 – 17 : 15), no weekends, some holidays required Weekly Hours : 40 hours guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250 Employment Type : Travel Nursing (locum tenens) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license (required prior to start) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a surgical or perioperative setting Proficiency in intraoperative nursing and surgical procedures as outlined in unit description Ability to float to other nursing units within competency level as needed Willingness to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during the assignment OR RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process for adolescent, adult, and geriatric surgical patients Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient outcomes throughout the perioperative episode of care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and support families / caregivers Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including General Surgery, Orthopedic (Small Joints, Total Shoulders), ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, Gynecology, Dental, Oral Maxillofacial, and Endoscopy Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and infection control in a fast-paced operating room environment Pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period as required Join our healthcare team at Reno's premier Same Day Surgery Center and make a difference at the region's only Level II Trauma Center.
