About the Role:

The Manager, FilmDistributionis responsible forexecuting IMAX’s film distribution strategy across assigned markets, with a focus on maximizing IMAX screenutilization, box office performance, and studio/exhibitorpartnerships.

This role servesas the primarypoint of contact for studios,exhibitorsandinternal IMAXdepartments,serving as thekeyconduit to share informationregardingIMAX programming across the domestic landscape.

The position balancesfilm slateplanning, market analysis, studio relations, and operational execution, ensuring alignment betweenall internal and external parties involved.

What You'll Do:

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication

• Serve astheday-to-day film distribution contact for IMAX theatersacross North America

• Build andmaintainstrong relationships withtheatrical exhibitors andstudio distribution and marketing teams

• Provideregular andfrequentinternal andexternalcommunicationtoNorth Americanexhibitors,distributorsand IMAX counterpartsregardingIMAX programming commitmentsand logistical needs

• Act as escalation point for exhibitor or studio distribution issues

Reporting, Analysis & Insights

• Participate in thecompilation and analysis of box office reports, indexing, and competitive grids

• Maintain and review programming, ticket pricing, and showtime data by title and market

• Partner with the Data & Analytics team to provide clear, actionable reporting on market conditions and performance trends

• Prepare and distribute regulardesignatedreporting related toslate planning, advance sales, theater closures, etc.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Film, Marketing, or related field

• Minimum3-4years of film distribution, theatrical exhibition, or entertainment industry experience

• Strong knowledge of theatrical distribution, release strategies, and PLF markets

• Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working directly withdistributionstudios andtheatricalexhibitors

• Highly detail orientedand organized

• Strong presentation and executive communication skills

Hiring Range :

$75,599.00 - $108,000.00 (per year) Final pay within this range will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and the geographic location of the role. Additional non-discretionary compensation may apply where eligible.
