Traveling Industrial Coating Superintendent

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of industrial coating projects, including surface preparation, application, and quality control. Lead and manage crews on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and resolve issues proactively. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure expectations are met. Oversee equipment and material usage, ensuring proper maintenance and inventory control. Enforce OSHA and environmental compliance standards. Provide training and mentorship to coating teams.

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial coatings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role. Hands-on experience with polyurea applications, including surface preparation, spraying techniques, and curing processes. OSHA 30 certification required; NACE or SSPC certifications preferred. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Proficient in project management tools and reporting. Willingness to travel extensively for projects while maintaining Waseca, MN residency.

This role requires extensive travel for project assignments while maintaining residency in Waseca, MN. The position involves working on-site with industrial coating teams, utilizing project management tools and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waseca, MN. The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.50 / hr.
