AP Specialist

Job Overview :

Search Solution Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading residential and commercial services organization specializing in tree and plant healthcare, fertilization, pruning, tree removal, and risk protection.

The AP Specialist will focus on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency , playing a critical role in supporting the company's growth and financial accuracy as it continues to expand nationwide.

Key Responsibilities :

• Centralize and standardize Accounts Payable processes across 12 company locations.
• Manage and process vendor invoices through Bill.com, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Support automation initiatives to improve workflow efficiency between Bill.com and NetSuite.
• Code and reconcile credit card transactions across multiple entities.
• Support the preparation and filing of 1099 forms for vendors and select employees.
• Manage sales and use tax filings across 4+ entities.
• Prepare and maintain reports and reconciliations, including repair and maintenance reports and AP accruals.
• Support entity-level accounting activities such as amortization entries and maintenance allocations.
• Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with the transition toward a fully integrated AP function within NetSuite.
