About The Position

We are seeking a

dedicated and experienced Per Diem General Surgeon to provide coverage at a

small, rural hospital in Los Banos, CA. This is a low-volume setting with no

trauma responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for a surgeon

looking for a more relaxed pace while maintaining a strong community impact.

Position Details :

Setting : Small rural

hospital – low volume, no trauma

Coverage Type : Per diem,

24-hour shifts

Shifts Available : 4–10 shifts per

month (benefits available with 6+ shifts / month)

Compensation : $1,750 per

24-hour shift (stipend-based)

Practice Details :

• Average Consults : 1–2 per day
• OR Volume : 3–6 cases per week

Case Mix : Elective procedures and ER
