Junior Quality Control Inspector

D.W. Mack Co., Inc is seeking a full time Junior Quality Inspector to join our team. You will conduct tests to determine the quality of finished materials and finished products.

Alternative Workweek Schedule -Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor or machine operator.
• Approves finished products by confirming the specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
• Documents inspection results by completeing reports and logs.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Be a team member of the Quality department and support production and other internal departments to further th interest of the company.

Qulaifications:

• Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
• Blueprint reading
• Ability to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters and calipers
• Experience in the Aerospace industry a Plus
• Conversational Spanish a Plus
