Requirements : Job Summary :

B&A is seeking a Software Development Manager to support a major enterprise system implementation for a state government client. This role is part of a high-visibility program with the Illinois Tollway, focused on delivering a next-generation Tolling Back Office System (TBOS) that integrates roadside systems, customer service, financial processing, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for all TBOS components, ensuring alignment with business rules and functional requirements.
• Oversee database design, integration, and optimization for performance, scalability, and security.
• Manage code transport across environments, version control, and rollback capabilities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver GUI components optimized for usability, speed, and accessibility.
• Document all customizations and modifications for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support testing phases including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Contribute to the development of the Software Development Plan, System Detailed Design Document (SDDD), and other technical deliverables.
