Job Summary : This position will help implement and maintain the day-to-day clinical laboratory operations, as assigned, and in accordance with applicable CLIA regulations, best practices, HIPAA, PHI, and Standard Operating Procedures. This position will be in the lab conducting testing including quality control, troubleshooting instrumentation and performing patient sample analysis. Essential to the success of this position is Education & Training : Associate or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology, and / or completion of accredited MLT, MT, or MLS program.

This position is available for both full-time and part-time schedules.

Job Responsibilities :

• Processes and prepares patient samples as required.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the computer systems used in the laboratory
• Tracks and locates missing specimens.
• Participates in detecting and documenting occurrences that deviate from defined procedures
• Performs miscellaneous support duties as defined by the department.
• Active in training and competency of laboratory personnel.
