Position Overview

Inpatient ED coverage only No call

Average ED Volume : 100 visits / day (1.8 patients / hour)

Average Inpatient Census : 20

ICU / Critical Care Duties : Yes

Respond to All Codes : Yes

After-Hours Admissions : Managed by Hospitalists

Procedures : Full scope of standard emergency medicine procedures required

Candidate Requirements

Licensure Active North Carolina Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

Board Certification ABEM preferred; ABFM, ABIM, and ABPS accepted with required emergency experience

Certifications ACLS, ATLS, PALS

Experience Proficiency in critical care and standard ED procedures
