Lead Social Worker - Behavioral Health
Job Summary
- Reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health, the Lead Social Worker provides clinical supervision and consultation to the inpatient Behavioral Health social work team. The Lead Social Worker also provides direct psychosocial care, including social work assessment, goal setting, problem identification, support, and intervention to individuals with psychiatric and substance use issues that are receiving care on the inpatient unit.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited graduate school of social workExperience
3-5 years of experience in clinical social work (can include related field work)Licensure and / or Certification
LICSWBLS healthcare provider preferred.CPI required within 30 days of hire and annually.Skills
Competence and experience in clinical practice.Ability to conduct and document Psychosocial Assessments.Knowledge of psychiatric terminology, DSM criteria, basics of psychopharmacology; knowledge of requirements for mandated reporting, and of hospital and community policies and resources.Communication skills.Computer skills.Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.Ability to maintain confidential information.PI0d08a689fa25-30511-39002983
