Instructional Assistant - Infant Care

BASIC FUNCTION : Under the direction of the Preschool Teacher, assist in providing quality child care and a safe environment for infants and toddlers; provide proper role model and positive parenting skills toteen mothers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : High School Diploma or equivalent, a Child Development Permit at the Associate Teacher level or above (must include 6 semester units in infant / toddler) and some experience working withinfants and toddlers. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Valid First Aid / CPR certificate.

• One (1) current professional letter of recommendation dated within the last two years.
• Application is filled out completely (no blank spaces)
• Child Development Permit at the Associate Teacher level or above issued from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
• Unofficial transcripts that must show proof of completion of 6 semester units in infant / toddler.
• Valid First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certificate
