Job Description

Position Title : Logistician II

Location : Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Philadelphia, PA

Clearance Requirement : Department of Defense Secret Clearance (Active)

Work Schedule : Forty hour work week schedule with some overtime allowed. Approximately 95% on-site at NSWCPD; up to 5% travel as required.

Contingency : This position is contingent upon contract award

The Logistician II will provide critical logistics support to NSWCPD’s CTF Business Operations. This role ensures the effective management of supply programs and projects, aligning with program objectives and NAVSEA standards. The position will interface with programmatic, financial, records, quality, maintenance, training, and continuous improvement teams to ensure seamless operational execution.

Responsibilities :

• Support programmatic logistics operations , including planning, coordination, and execution of supply and material support functions.
• Manage processing, records management, and documentation in accordance with established Navy and NSWCPD standards.
• Provide financial management support related to logistics, including tracking, reporting, and analysis of material and inventory costs.
• Assist with quality management and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient logistics processes.
• Coordinate manpower, personnel, and training requirements to maintain readiness and operational compliance.
• Support planned maintenance and configuration management activities associated with CTF systems and equipment.
• Collect and report relevant metrics to monitor and improve logistics operations and program performance.
• Serve as a liaison with NAVSEA, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Fleet organizations regarding logistics support matters.
