Job descriptionWork 12-hour day shifts from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM Typical schedule : Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Riverton campus Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors Explain procedures to patients including side effects, risks, benefits, and follow-up Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images per protocol Review images, make initial observations, and communicate data to radiologist Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate Provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients Participate in process improvement activities and quality assurance Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Available for call / standby duties as required by department May perform duties of Radiologic Technologist as needed Must have ARRT certification in CT Tech and Radiology Must have BLS certification through American Heart Association Minimum 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience required Must be able to work independently Must be familiar with GE CT and X-ray machines Referral bonus
