Description : Position Overview :
The Business Development & Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving exhibit and sponsorship sales for Reliable Plant and its affiliated family of industrial events. This role combines proactive sales strategy, relationship management, and event coordination to ensure an exceptional exhibitor and sponsor experience from initial outreach through post-event follow-up.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proactively sell exhibit space and sponsorship packages to new and returning companies.
 - Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and outreach to contract execution and payment.
 - Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors and sponsors, providing exceptional customer service and support.
 - Track sales goals, pipeline, and revenue targets; provide regular reports and updates to management.
 - Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and communication strategies to drive exhibitor and sponsor engagement.
 - Coordinate with operations and event management teams to ensure exhibitor and sponsor needs are met before, during, and after each event.
 - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and communications in CRM software.
 - Identify opportunities for growth, cross-selling, and long-term partnership development.
 - Support on-site exhibitor registration, booth assignments, and logistical coordination during events.
 - Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience strategies.

Requirements : Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in events, trade shows, or sponsorships.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel to events as required.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in B2B sales or familiarity with the industrial or manufacturing sector.Knowledge of exhibit operations, event logistics, or sponsorship coordination.
