Compensation and Benefits

Key Responsibilities
Probate Administration
Prepare and file probate court documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and final distributions
Track estate timelines and ensure compliance with court and statutory deadlines
Communicate with executors, beneficiaries, and court staff to gather information and provide updates
Research and resolve title, creditor, and asset transfer issues
Maintain organized digital and physical client files
Estate Planning
Draft and proofread estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Assist attorneys with client intake and data collection for tailored estate plans
Coordinate document signings and notarizations
Maintain accurate, confidential client records
Client & Case Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients with professionalism and empathy
Conduct intake interviews for new probate and estate planning matters
Track matter progress, follow up on outstanding items, and communicate updates to attorneys
Administrative Support
Maintain case management notes and update practice management systems
Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and billing summaries for attorney review
Manage court dockets, deadlines, and calendars
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in probate, estate planning, or related practice areas
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
Detail-oriented and capable of handling confidential client matters with discretion
