Description : Job Summary :

• Perform Mohs lab procedures outlined in procedure manual, working in direct contact with Mohs Surgeon.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

Requirements :

Experience : No less than 1 year

Performance Requirements : Ability to Gross, Embed, Cut, Hand Stain H&E, Coverslip. Knowledge of IHC staining

for Melanoma

Knowledge : Cytology, microscopy, Stain Protocol, Anatomy, Setting up Mohs lab, Mohs mapping techniques, CLIA

regulations

Skills : Delegation of responsibility, create workflow, Training, Full understanding of Mohs surgical procedure

Abilities : Punctual, flexible hours, equipment maintenance

Equipment Operated : Cryostat, standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers,

telephones, etc.

Education :

High School Diploma required

Advanced degree preferred

Board certified ASCP Histotechnologist certificate preferred

Work Environment :

Medical office, well lit, well ventilated.

Work may be stressful due to continual interaction with others.

Evening Hours

Physical Requirements : Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally

associated with an Administrators including walking, bending, standing, reaching, and sitting. Ability to lift

20 lbs.
