About The Position

Shift : Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 8 Hours

Experience : Minimum 2 Years of Experience in Histology

License : Valid State License as Applicable

Certifications : ASCP Certification Required

Must-Have : Strong knowledge of pathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry processes

Description :

Responsible for performing all tasks related to specimen preparation and analysis in the histology laboratory.

Receives and accession specimens according to standard operating procedures.

Processes tissue samples, embeds, cuts, and stains slides for microscopic examination.

Ensures proper collection and handling of blocks from pathology assistants.

Maintains accuracy and quality in all laboratory procedures and documentation.

Operates and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment according to safety and quality standards.

Collaborates with pathology and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results.

Demonstrates attention to detail and adherence to laboratory best practices.

Maintains compliance with all applicable regulations and quality control requirements.

Performs additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor or laboratory manager.
