Salary / Hourly Rate : 20.74

Responsible for the daily pickup and delivery of assigned employees between their pickup locations and job site or other destination according to assigned schedule and designated routes.

Primary Duties

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

• Perform daily inspection of vehicle to include but not limited to ensuring that the tires are in good condition, oil and water are at appropriate levels, the exterior of the van has not been damaged, etc.; and provide written documentation to supervisor of needed service or repairs. Maintain interior and exterior of vehicle cleanliness daily or as needed.
• Responsible for the daily pickup and delivery of Food Service Workers in a safe and timely manner to job site, or other destination according to assigned schedule and designated routes.
• Maintain logbook, documenting all pickups and deliveries accurately and completely. Complete mileage and time logs.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor and report any problems to supervisor immediately. Operate cell phone to communicate with supervisor, sites, parents, or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Report any suggested change in routes that will lead to more efficient transportation of employees.
