We have an immediate opening for a Condition Report Writer (CR Writer).

The responsibility of the CR Writer is to assess vehicles entering the auction for condition, depreciation, missing parts, mechanical issues, and damage/structural damage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle entering the auction, identifying damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues
• Document vehicle condition by completing appropriate report, capturing photos, and entering data systematically in a timely manner
• Maintain vital communications with Fleet Lease, Mechanic, and Detail Department - keeping each department informed of any issue(s)
• Relocate vehicles to proper staging zone post inspection
• Resolve any customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner; advise management of all complaints or incidents
• Other duties as assigned

Full benefits, paid time off, and 401K eligibility. This position starts at $16-17/hour, M-F work schedule.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and manual transmission
• Mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
• Requires good time management, organizational and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent and/or prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Must be able to lift or move items at least 25 pounds
• Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Physical Work Environment:

• Exposure to outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors and dust
