We are looking for a commercial litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent clients in complex business litigation matters, including real estate, fiduciary, and intra-corporate disputes. The ideal candidate will excel in providing strategic legal counsel, preparing detailed legal documents, and advocating effectively in court.
Responsibilities :
- Provide legal representation and advice to small-to-midsize businesses and individuals throughout all stages of real estate, fiduciary, and business litigation.
- Draft and review various legal documents such as motions, discovery materials, court orders, settlement agreements, affidavits, and legal memoranda.
- Attend and actively participate in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
- Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and other relevant parties to resolve disputes.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to deliver comprehensive legal analysis, updates, and guidance.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and deadlines.
- At least three years of experience in litigation, with a proven ability to manage cases independently.
- Strong academic credentials, preferably graduating in the top third of your class.
- Active admission to practice law in Maryland or eligibility to take the Maryland Bar Exam if licensed elsewhere.
- Exceptional interpersonal and client communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with comfort working in fast-paced environments.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial litigation practices, including drafting motions and pleadings, discovery processes, and attending hearings and depositions.
