Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Specialty : PACU

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum 3 years of PACU experience highly preferred

License : Valid Registered Nurse license required

Certifications : COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required - no exemptions

Must-Have :

1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR
Phase 2 / post-op experience highly preferred

Job Description :

Work four 10-hour shifts with two options : 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM or 9 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM.

Care for adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics postoperative patient population.

On-call requirement includes one entire weekend per 6-week schedule period and one weekday call per week.

Wear royal blue scrubs.

Must live at least 50 miles away from relevant locations.

Mandatory pre-assignment testing and modules, with reimbursement for time spent completing modules (up to 16 hours).

Must be willing to float to other units or campuses based on census needs and qualifications.
