Trains and oversees maintenance staff on proper safety procedures, etc. to ensure quality standards and serviceMaintains equipment and parts inventories, and keeps inventory recordsRecords type and costs of maintenance or repair workPerforms routine preventive maintenance and / or repairs to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deterioratePerforms a variety of routine physical labor tasksSets up meeting areas for meetings and eventsAssists with safety training as necessaryReports any issues or problems that may arise to the AdministratorComplies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standardsAssists families and other visitors as neededAttends in-services and other required meetingsPerforms other duties and tasks as assignedQualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a maintenance position; or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred$80,000 / year
