Summary

The Potter's House Child Development Center, a faith based program. is actively seeking and praying for a vibrant and engaging lead Pre-K teacher for our year-round program child development program. Monday-Friday, 9 : 00-5 : 30. Salary dependent on experience and education. The Potter's House is a full time, year-round program.

Duties

Duties include :

• planning engaging and relevant learning activities for children with Creative Curriculum
• providing sincere, responsive care to children and forming strong partnerships with families
• participating in the unique and encouraging team mentality of our staff
• establishing a clean and organized learning environment in the classroom
• appreciating the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with the people connections God brings our way

All paperwork and background checks must be completed two weeks prior to the start date, and our school year begins officially on August 8, 2025.

Requirements

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, background check, completed medical statement (forms are provided by the center.) Our Christian ministry requires that all staff have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ in order to fulfill our mission of sharing the gospel with the families to whom God connects us. Applicants must genuinely enjoy spending time with children and connecting to families.

Nice To Haves

We prefer applicants to have prior experience working with young children. College coursework, a degree in ECE, or CDA are icing on the proverbial cake.
