  • Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, direction, and performance monitoring to achieve goals and meet departmental standards.
  • Supervise the operational, financial, personnel activities and coordinate healthcare services in the Nuclear Medicine department.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment to physicians and purchasing.
  • Demonstrate initiative for excellence and specialized knowledge to influence, motivate, train, and lead staff.
  • Take ownership of assignments, special projects, pilot programs, and other duties, including performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Interact with other departments to solve problems, elicit cooperation, and provide information reflecting the organization's professional and quality patient care standards.
  • Assist all staff and modality leaders with PACS and EPIC issues and corrections to the system.
  • Operate all routine nuclear medicine scanners and equipment safely and proficiently and serve as a resource to staff.

    • Qualifications

    Job Requirements :

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Nuclear Medicine Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the NMTCB.
  • Maintain an active BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

    • Preferred Job Requirements :

  • Three years of directly related experience in a hospital setting with prior supervisory experience
