Associate Director, US-Marketing, HIV CEEL Field Execution Strategy

Our company has been committed to advancing science for the treatment and prevention of HIV for more than 35 years. Our rapidly growing HIV Business Unit consists of 3 inline products, a product currently under review by the FDA, and an active research pipeline. We are currently recruiting for Associate Director, U.S. Marketing, Community and Ecosystem Engagement Lead (CEEL) Field Execution for HIV. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and customer-focused marketer to join our team in the fight against HIV / AIDS by acting as a strong leader and the conduit for sharing and partnership across the brand team and HIV sales organization.

The CEEL Field Execution Associate Director will report to the Director, PMO HCC / AHP who oversees the Consumer and Allied Health Professional marketing teams. This CEEL Field Execution point will focus on driving field execution of brand strategy for our HIV products through close collaboration with the Customer Agile Team, CEEL Leadership, Sales Planning, Learning & Development, and Brand Communications. This role will work to understand customer engagement effectiveness through data analytics and enabling the flow of critical customer insights back into the organization to evaluate performance and diagnose areas of opportunity.

Key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to :

  • Lead customer engagement and execution activities aligned to brand strategy
  • Partner with the CAT and CEEL Leadership in all aspects of preparation, planning and ongoing integration related to product promotion, customer engagement and execution
  • Collaborate with CEEL Field and L&D to identify and prioritize training and development
  • Lead field-based segmentation and targeting activities, tactical plan development, and KPI implementation / monitoring
  • Leverage customer insights and engagement data to maximize execution
  • Responsible for the development of execution resources
  • Establish and maintain ongoing bi-directional communication between CEELs and brand team to ensure continuous integration, support sharing of relevant insights, and ultimately, maximize customer engagement efforts
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead brand team engagements with CEEL field (meetings, strategy reviews, and training calls, etc.)

This position will further enhance leadership skills that are essential for various aspects of product management including strategy and extended team opportunities, ability to build alignment across diverse teams, and problem-solving skills. Candidates must demonstrate strong collaboration across the brand and extended teams to achieve effective execution of the developed strategy.

Education Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors required + MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years Pharma / biotech experience OR a minimum of 4 years combined strategic US Health Care Professional (HCP) marketing or US Field Sales + Strong project management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing activities, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery + Strong written / verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and / or sales presentations + Demonstrated experience in modeling exemplary behavior and setting high standards as a sales team leader and / or strong indirect manager of colleagues, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve and exceed sales targets + Proven ability to drive sales execution + Strong experience in providing exceptional customer engagement + Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional leadership teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and the capacity to align organizational objectives and drive successful outcomes + Experience participating and contributing as an extended team member in brand or sales specific projects and initiatives + Ability to contribute to a positive team culture
  • Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in HIV + Sales manager or learning and development / training experience + Agile experience

    The salary range for this role is $139,600.00 - $219,700.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits.
