What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors.

As part of our dynamic team, you will perform traffic engineering tasks for a wide variety of projects ranging in size and scope. Projects will require working with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and technicians and will range from traffic studies to signing, pavement marking, signal design, and maintenance of traffic as well as design / construction documents.

Your Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with the Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, ITE Trip Generation Manual, Roadside Design Guide, AASHTO "Green Book," and / or roadway design and highway lighting experience is a plus.
  • Will be working with OpenRoads Designer, Microstation and / or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledgeable in other software tools such as HCS, Transmodeler, and / or Synchro / SimTraffic is strongly desired.
  • Experience with VISSIM, SIDRA, SignCAD, and AutoTurn are a plus.
  • Also, experience with Ohio agencies, including ODOT, is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements :

Education, Experience & Licensure :

  • Ohio Prof. Engineering License.
  • Progressing towards licensure or possessing a PE license in the State of Ohio.
  • 5 years' experience with Traffic engineering.
