About the Role
IT360, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT equipment, software, and services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure the best value for the company.
- Procurement Process : Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to purchase order creation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Proposal Management : Create, send, and receive proposals from vendors and suppliers, ensuring all proposals meet company standards and requirements.
- Inventory Management : Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track orders, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Cost Control : Monitor and analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality.
- Order Fulfillment : Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or quality concerns.
- Product Check-In : Check in products upon receiving them, ensuring that all items are accounted for and meet quality standards.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the IT support team to understand their needs and ensure the timely availability of required equipment and services.
- Reporting : Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to management.
Qualifications
Associates in Business Administration or relevant field.Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role.Good understanding of supply chain procedures.Strong communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Hands-on experience with purchasing software and quoting software.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to lift at least 25 poundsCompensation & Benefits
Salary : $42,000 $55,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
