Summary
The Dining Room Supervisor plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a quality dining experience by greeting and seating residents and guests, overseeing dining room staff and maintaining a pleasant and clean dining environment.
Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily operations of the dining room. Ensures smooth and timely opening of the dining room, including the facilitation of the pre-meal meeting. Inspects cleaning and closing of the dining room.Provides supervision for special functionsGreet and seat residents and guests.Ensures consistently high quality customer service in the dining room.Assists the dining service manager, hiring, training, disciplining and terminating employees.Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image.Attend and participate in in-services as required by federal, state, and company requirements.Required Skills and Qualifications
Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to understand and communicate written and verbal directionsRegular attendance, reliability and punctuality is necessaryAbility to work nights and weekends, upon request
Must be able to work overtime as neededMay be responsible to work on an on-call basisOutstanding customer service skillsWell organized with excellent attention to detailAptitude to work independently with excellent time management skillsEducation and Experience
High school diploma or equivalentSupervisory experience in food serviceWho We Are :
