Job SummaryExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Business Developer to support our local office. In this role, you will work within a defined territory to build relationships with local businesses and provide customized hiring and workforce solutions. This is a sales-focused position ideal for someone who enjoys networking, problem-solving, and driving results.
Essential Functions- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand their hiring and workforce needs
- Educate clients on Express Employment’s staffing, leadership, and human resources solutions
- Research and prospect new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Manage and grow an existing book of business
- Interact directly with clients throughout all phases of the sales process
- Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily sales activities
- Negotiate pricing and prepare service agreements
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and activity goals
Pay: Base salary plus commission- Estimated annual earnings: $35,000–$45,000, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Driven, goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
