Job Title : Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will complete electro mechanical assemblies, including rails, brackets, panels, sub assemblies, harnesses, cables, and all required point-to-point or hard wiring. You will also terminate various wires as per work order instructions, build wire harnesses, solder connectors on wires, and stage components for required assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Complete electro mechanical assemblies.
• Terminate various wires following work order instructions.
• Build and assemble wire harnesses.
• Solder connectors on wires.
• Stage components for assemblies.
• Assist in the maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Document quantity tracking of components and final products for inventory purposes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

You will work the 1st shift from 6am to 2 : 30pm, Monday through Friday, in a metal manufacturing environment. This setting is loud, dirty, and hectic, with CNC machines, welding stations, and assembly areas nearby. The dress code requires work boots, jeans, and a plain shirt.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commack, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.50 / hr.
