Candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant license (requires graduation from an accredited PTA program).

Atrium Physical Therapy, a family-owned outpatient physical therapist practice, is looking for a sharp, engaging, enthusiastic physical therapist to join our professional clinical staff.

• A zeal for to use your skills to restore full function in your patients.
• An aptitude for learning or developing the ‘soft-skills’ necessary create a therapeutic alliance with your patients
• The technical skills to manage documentation in our OptimisPT EMR system.
• An appetite for learning new skills - we provide a generous continuing education stipend to help you with that.
• A tendency for creativity in using the wide wide range of treatment tools available.
• an understanding of the economics of health care. Let’s face it, we work on an unlevel playing field. Frankly, we can’t compete with home health and hospitals - health insurance companies pay them a lot more for what PTs do. If you're comparing us to home health and hospitals in terms of what you can make financially, then this is probably not the setting for you.

Our patients : We treat a range of patient diagnoses, including acute, chronic, and post- surgical orthopedic cases, chronic pain, chronic lung disease (including long-haul covid cases), as well as acute and chronic neuro cases.
