Position : Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

As the ADON , you will support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong team collaboration. This role requires clinical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on support across nursing operations.

Schedule :

Full-Time : Monday - Friday

On-call rotation for alternating weekends

Key Responsibilities :

Coordinate and oversee total nursing care for residents

Implement nursing programs, policies, and procedures

Support the Director of Nursing with team goals, staffing, and performance management

Supervise and support nursing staff, providing coaching and hands-on guidance

Stay informed and proactive in infection control and safety standards

Participate in the QA / CQI process and regulatory surveys

Prepare clinical documentation and ensure accurate records

Provide nursing care as needed, including stepping in to assist with med cart coverage

Plan and lead in-service education and training for nursing personnel

Conduct and review pre-admission assessments in a timely manner

Requirements :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience , with leadership experience preferred

Skilled in clinical documentation, compliance, and staff supervision

Strong communication and team-building skills

Must be a flexible team player willing to support wherever needed
