Dispatcher - Toledo, OH

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for development of effective, secure and timely logistical routes and communications to, from and between customers and route drivers. Serves as the liaison between internal and external customers and the couriers. Interacts with all level of management, medical processionals and staff to provide exceptional transportation services for specimens, materials and personnel.

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, data entry, works in a team environment with minimal supervision, listening and documentation, and multi tasking
• Years of Experience: 1 year experience in transportation field
• License: Requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by a MVR in order to be covered under the Company's insurance policy.

Additional Experience

• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries.
• Requires effective interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to input and retrieve information from a computer.
• Must be able to communicate by telephone and e mail.

Physical Demands: Must be able to move between workstations. Must be able to frequently move, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 30 lbs, 20% of the time. Must be able to tolerate sitting and computer data entry for long periods of time.
