Most be able to work Pacific Standard OR Mountain Standard Time. This position is primarily responsible for partnering with PEO sales for company growth via new business. Point of contact for PEO sales representatives and possible contact with prospects during initial data collection for underwriting, proposal and contracts. Successfully moving clients through underwriting and contractual process, then turnover to implementation while maintaining positive client experience throughout the PEO sales process.

Responsibilities include :

  • Reconciles all underwriting documents and information and reviews for accuracy; sends one discrepancy email / notice to PEO sales representative (if applicable).
  • Interact and work with PEO sales and / or prospects via phone call, email and virtual video communication to obtain necessary underwriting items and approvals.
  • Prepare contractual documents and benefit worksheets / addendums (if applicable) for prospects.
  • Serves as liaison between PEO sales, prospect and internal departments until client is fully transitioned to implementation.
  • Communicates with PEO sales representatives to collect open discrepancy items for contract complete / revenue recognition.
  • Work with PEO sales on necessary escalations needed for underwriting, pricing and contracts.
  • Responsible for effective working relationship with prospects, PEO sales and internal departments.
  • Responds to prospects, PEO sales and all other departments and inquiries within SLA of 24 hours.
  • Responsible to keep management informed in area activities of any significant concerns.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications include :

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Associate's Degree - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Sales Support or Sales Analyst Role.
  • 2 years of experience in PEO Knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office - MS Excel Proficiency Required
  • Self-Motivation - Required
  • Business Acumen - Required
  • Sales Process - Required
  • Detail Oriented - Required
  • Interpersonal Communications - Required
  • Compensation in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $60,349.50 - $80,000.00 / yr. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
