Role Summary

As our Senior P&C Underwriter, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing Corgi's underwriting strategy. You'll bring deep technical expertise in property & casualty risk evaluation and combine it with a forward-looking mindset to help us design scalable, compliant, and competitive underwriting frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to apply your underwriting experience in a high-growth environment where your decisions will directly influence our products, portfolio, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting strategy across multiple P&C product lines
• Develop and refine risk appetite, underwriting guidelines, and frameworks that enable automation and scalability
• Collaborate with actuarial, product, regulatory, and operations teams to launch and manage new insurance products
• Provide expert input into regulatory filings and respond to inquiries from state insurance departments
• Monitor portfolio performance and implement adjustments to maintain profitability and risk integrity
• Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert to junior underwriters as the team expands
