We're looking for a Software Engineer (Infrastructure / Developer Tooling) who's passionate about building scalable systems and empowering developers with seamless tooling. You'll focus on designing, maintaining, and improving Homebase's AWS-based infrastructure and internal developer experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of engineering velocity at Homebase-helping every Homie ship faster, safer, and smarter.

These are the key ways you'll contribute and create impact in this role :

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and developer tooling that empower Homebase engineers to deliver exceptional software.
• Lead improvements to internal developer tools that streamline workflows and reduce friction in the software lifecycle.
• Drive the optimization of our AWS infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Influence infrastructure architecture decisions by evaluating and implementing emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
• Serve as a point of contact for infrastructure needs and on-call rotations, helping teams resolve questions and incidents.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across engineering teams to accelerate impact.
• Experiment with AI-powered observability, automation, and workflow retooling to continuously improve developer velocity.
