Job descriptionCPT Level Review : Assess visit notes to confirm they align with the provider's CPT level. Insurance Review : Address insurance details within charts during the coding process. Team Collaboration : Assist fellow coders as needed, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment. Expert Knowledge : Proficiency in 1500 billing, ICD-10, and CPT coding. Revenue Cycle Familiarity : Understanding of the revenue cycle's functionality. EMR Proficiency : Ability to learn and use EMR and electronic billing software. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is a plus. Communication Skills : Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to operate general office equipment. Team Player : Ability to work well with others, take constructive critique, and support company goals and objectives. Adaptability : Willingness to jump in and help fellow coders as needed, and adapt to changing environments. CPC Certification E & M Coding Experience : At least 2+ years. EMR Systems Experience eClinicalWorks Proficiency Medical Terminology Knowledge Microsoft Teams Experience Full Cycle Billing Process Understanding Effective Communication : Ability to ask questions, take direction, and communicate effectively. Detail-Oriented & Organized : Precision and organization in all tasks. Feedback Acceptance : Ability to take feedback constructively and avoid repeated mistakes. Team Player : A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. Willingness to Learn : A proactive approach to learning and development. Hours : 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm MST, Monday to Friday.
