PIH Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Coding Analyst. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a Senior Coding Analyst for the first year providing a robust learning environment. The Coding Analyst will report to the Lead Coding Analyst and play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of data submissions for CMS Risk Adjustment and Quality Incentive programs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying gaps in submissions resolving data quality issues and pinpointing areas for coding improvements. Additionally the Coding Analyst will be responsible for assisting with data collection for CMS Sweeps. As a member of the PIH Health team you will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services to the residents of the Los Angeles County Orange County and San Gabriel Valley region. Our integrated network is known for its patient care excellence and innovative healthcare technology. We are looking for a professional who is eager to grow within our organization and committed to our values of integrity community and excellence. This full-time regular / at-will position is based at PHP and requires a high school diploma or equivalent as a minimum educational qualification. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with at least three years of experience in medical group-related billing claims medical assisting or medical records. The role demands excellent communication skills a quick learning ability strong organizational skills and proficiency in data entry and ICD-10 coding.
