About the Job
At our rapidly growing practice, Cardiovascular Specialists of New England, we are seeking a detailed Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. You will appropriately and accurately verify the codes are assigned correctly. Additionally, you will have a strong understanding of medical billing and coding procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services rendered. You will report directly to the Office Manager.
What youll do :
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount
- Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
- Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
- Research and appeal denied claims
- Answer patient or insurance inquiries regarding billed claims

Work Location :
You will work out of Manchester, New Hampshire or Londonderry, NH office based on needs of the offices.
Additional Information
Full-time base hourly rate of to per hour plus medical, dental, and vision.
