A company is looking for a Coding Specialist II.
Key Responsibilities
Code and audit diagnostic and interventional radiology reports, applying appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes
Maintain pended document queues and ensure timely release of documents
Provide education and resolve coding issues with physicians, colleagues, and vendors
Required Qualifications
Associates degree and RCC / Coding certification preferred
Minimum of two years of medical billing and coding experience
Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and anatomy; interventional radiology coding experience is a plus
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in billing / coding systems and intermediate Excel skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
