Job description
A company is looking for a Medical Coder Supervisor (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor medical coding staff to ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records
Review and audit coded medical records for compliance with ICD and CPT coding guidelines
Monitor productivity metrics and support optimal reimbursement practices
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Current RHIT or RHIA credential required
Minimum of five (5) years of acute care medical coding experience required
Certification as a Coding Specialist
Prior supervisory or lead experience in a medical coding environment preferred
