Job description
A company is looking for a Clinician Coding Liaison - Orthopedics.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver proactive coding education and lead onboarding and compliance training for clinicians
Provide individualized documentation feedback and serve as the primary contact for coding inquiries
Monitor Epic work queues and collaborate across departments to enhance documentation practices
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Coding Specialist (CCS), Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P), or Professional Coder (CPC) certification
Completion of advanced training through a recognized or accredited program; high school diploma or GED required
Typically requires 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding
Advanced knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
