Itsugar is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be the premier "SUGARTAINER" in charge of delivering a sweet customer experience while promoting our brand. This position is a steppingstone towards a management role within Itsugar. The Supervisor will be a shift leader in charge of overseeing all store functions and team members.
What You'll Do

- Act as a leader on duty : oversee the daily operation of the store and ensure that sales objectives are met.
- Evaluate daily operations on an ongoing basis and make recommendations / initiate action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
- Foster a productive work environment through consistent coaching and training of Sales Associates.
- Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and brand proud attitude.
- Promote safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
- Partner with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service : follow our customer engagement model SUGARTAINMENT by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining and thanking the customer.
- Assist customers with requests and inquiries.
- Ensure salesfloor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.
- Operate POS / register to properly cash out all customers.
- Achieve sales goals : follow through on customer requests for specific items and suggest additional products.
- Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.
- Support store operations : maintain store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image.
- Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
- Plan, coordinate, and set up special events and promotions.
- Maintain communication with associates regarding product recommendations to increase sales / inventory.
- Understand all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with the Store Manager.
- Operational responsibilities include, but are not limited to salesfloor / backroom / restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.

What You Need To Join The Fun
Must be 18 years of age or older. Education : high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Years of experience : 2 years of retail experience and at least 1 year of supervisor experience preferred. Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able and willing to work 32-40 hours a week. Must be able to use a POS / cash register. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Able to independently lift / move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift / move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
