Telemetry RN Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1470-$1570

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Telemetry Unit

Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Start Date : December 22, 2025

End Date : March 23, 2026

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating : May be required within scope and between like units

Parking : Free parking lots and garages available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience in an acute care or hospital setting

Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact Registered Nurse license (pending license considered with proof of application)

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred

Proficiency with Epic EMR charting required

Experience managing patient ratios of 1 : 4 or higher

First-time travel nurses welcome

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, cardiac rhythms, and dysrhythmias

Initiate and maintain IVs for adult and geriatric patients

Deliver direct patient care in a telemetry nursing environment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services

Document all patient care activities using Epic EMR

Float to similar nursing units as needed to support hospital operations

Participate in rapid response and emergency protocols

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing procedures
