About Client :

The client is a technology managed services provider and product reseller.It provides Managed Workplace Services including IT solutions and hardware, integration and support services and has partnerships within the technology space such as Client, IBM, Cisco, Dell, Apple, Inc, Jamf Pro, AirWatch.

Rate Range : $19-$21 / Hr

Job Description :

  • We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Desktop Technician to provide deskside support and manage PC lifecycle tasks in an enterprise environment.
  • This is an in-person role located in Durham, NC.
  • The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal IT leadership on site and must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with users of varying technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide deskside support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues
  • Deploy, configure, and decommission desktop and laptop systems
  • Perform PC imaging, upgrades, and software installations
  • Assist with inventory tracking and asset management
  • Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot user incidents and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Deliver excellent customer service and deescalate tense user situations
  • Top Required Skills :

  • Dependability - Ability to work independently, show up reliably, and proactively handle issues with limited oversight
  • Soft Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with difficult personalities and remain calm under pressure
